Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a time for you to meet one-on-one with Laura to discuss concerns, plan for the future, or to sort through past experiences. Therapy can help if you are struggling with:
Racing, intrusive, or obsessive thoughts
Feeling constantly on guard or easily startled
Anxiety
Depression
Anger and irritability
Feeling like you can’t control your behavior
Feeling disconnected from yourself or others
Thoughts of suicide or self-harm
Taking unnecessary risks with your health, safety, or relationships
Rates & Payment
Finding Normal accepts cash, debit, credit, HSA, and FSA as payment for individual therapy. We do not accept insurance.
To help offset some of the financial burden of paying for therapy, we offer a sliding scale which takes into account your income and number of dependents. Enter your information below to see how much your hourly therapy rate will be. Please note that your exact rate will be confirmed during your phone consultation.
Estimate Your Hourly Rate*:
Upon request, Laura can provide you with documentation that may help you receive reimbursement from your insurance plan. This documentation requires a mental health diagnosis, and the reimbursement coverage varies by plan. Please contact your insurance plan directly to determine your out of network coverage for individual mental health care.
*Rates are updated annually. The calculation above is an estimated hourly rate based on 2023 information.
Group Therapy
Individual therapy isn’t for everyone at every stage of their healing process. Groups can be a great option if you aren’t able to afford individual therapy, want to be around people who understand what you’re going through, or want to supplement your individual therapy.
Beginning the Journey Education & Support Group
